SP #3 Unit I Concept 1

In this graph you must pay special attention to the x-intercept. In this graph there is no x-intercept because when we plug in 0 for x the answer is undefined. We must also pay attention to the domain and range. Since it is an exponential graph we follow the "EXPONENTIAL YaK Died" This means that since the graph is exponential and has an asymptote of y=k this leads to no restrictions on the domain.

SV 1 Unit F Concept 10

This problem is about how to find zeroes from a polynomial. There are several steps in finding the zeroes. Using the rational roots theorem, descartes rule of signs, the synthetic division, and the quadratic formula.
You must pay special attention to the synthetic division. All numbers have to be right to get the correct zeroes. If you miss something then its going to take a while to figure out where you went wrong.

SP #2 Unit E Concept 7

This problem is about using zeroes to find the polynomial equation. You have to write the zeroes as factors and multiply them together to get the polynomial. Once you get the polynomial you have to find the end behavior, x-intercepts, and y-intercepts then graph it.

You must pay special attention to the degree and leading coefficient because that is going to tell you what the end behavior is going to be. Also pay attention to the zeroes because if there is one radical there always has to be another. Pay attention to the multiplicities because those tell you whether the line goes through, bounces or curves through the x-intercept.

SP#1 Unit E Concept 1

This is an equation that starts in standard form. To graph it we must complete the square to put it into parent function form. The graph would not be a sketch but an accurate representation of the formula.

You must pay attention to how you complete the square because you can't just plug in any number. You must also pay attention when you are solving for the x-intercepts. You must know that when 'a' is negative the graph opens down but when it is positive it will open up.
